BeschreibungBelonging. Being identified. Defined. Replaced. Re-identified. Re-defined. Our stories. Are they really ours? Or are they sunk within the stories of our nations? Who are we? Here, in United Europe. In the time of political correctness and the world of union and co-existence, how do we relate to ourselves and others? Where are the limits? What don’t we want to talk about? What don’t we want to see? This performance investigates our concept of coexistence and ability to cohabit. Four dancers with different backgrounds and nationalities through movement and words explore the idea of identity and belonging. 'EINTOPF' was created as a part Taburopa – an international research and theatre project exploring the subject of European taboos, conducted in four selected countries: Portugal, Poland, Belgium and Germany. Produced by: Sommerblut Kulturfestival e.V. , Rolf Emmerich Artistic director: André Erlen Project management: Gregor Leschig, Rolf Emmerich Partners: kobalt.works (Brussels, Belgium), Teatro Praga (Lisbon/Portugal), Association of Culture Practitioners (Warsaw/Poland), Futur3 (Cologne/Germany)
