| Beschreibung | Photograph of the modern dance group posing. There are five dancers in the back of the group that is standing mostly African American dancers with their legs shoulder-width
apart but their left legs are slightly bent at the knee allowing them to lean to their left side a little while their left hands are raised above their heads and their right hands are angled down away from their body. There are two couples in front each couple is a male dancer and a female dancer. On the left side of the photo, the male dancer has both legs spread shoulder-width apart but his left leg is bent to almost a ninety-degree angle while he is bent at his hip to his left side looking into the eyes of his female partner. He has his left arm around her back holding her right hand and his right hand is coming down across his chest to hold her left hand. The female dancer is laying back along the male dancer's left leg with her right leg sticking straight out while her left leg is slightly bent at the knee to allow her left foot to be firmly against the floor. Her left arm is crossed under her right arm over her chest to hold the male dancer's right hand while her right hand is holding the male dancer's left hand next to her left side. The other couple is in the same position but oriented to the male's right side. The male dancer has his right leg bent at a ninety-degree angle while his left leg is slightly back. He is bent over his right leg looking into his female partner's eyes. His right arm is going behind the female dancer's back to hold her left hand while his left hand is down by his belly area holding her right hand. The female dancer is laying back along the male dancer's right leg while her left leg is sticking up at an angle and her right leg is bent at a ninety-degree angle so her toes can be against the floor. Her left arm is crossing over just below her chest to hold the right hand of the male dancer next to her right side while her right hand is at her left hip holding the male dancer's left hand.
